Renaming files

As Site Administrator, you can rename any files that you own. However, you cannot rename files in the root directory (/).

To rename a file:

1. In the shortcuts area of the Home page, click Manage Files (File Manager section). The directory list is displayed.

2. If necessary, drill down to the directory that contains the file you want to change.

3. In the Name area of the Path form, locate the file you want to rename, and click or next to it. The file window opens.

4. In the Commands area of the file window, in the Rename to field, enter the new name for the file.

5. Click Rename.
